The word "gnossienne" describes several pieces of piano music composed by Erik Satie that didn't fit into any existing classical music styles like a piano prelude or a sonata. I chose this title as the album is a progression of my previous work from last year, and I also had to start most of the album from scratch due to almost putting NWK on hiatus again. Some tracks sound rougher than others as I was making them in one take before editing and mastering them to give a finished product.

For musical influence on this album, I’d like to give thanks to Delia Derbyshire, DJ Shadow, Charlie Manson, and Aphex Twin.
