CAMPO BLANCO es un proyecto que nació en la segunda mitad del 2020, en el momento justo en que la cuarentena estaba aflojándose y de a poco uno podía recuperar el contacto presencial con sus vínculos. Buscamos en ese momento la forma de reconectar con la creación musical colectiva, con la comunicación creativa de interactuar desde el sonido y desde la sensibilidad. Nos dimos cuenta del enorme potencial de nuestro formato instrumental: un híbrido muy inusual de instrumentos acústicos, analógicos y digitales. Esta paleta sonora nos permitió expresarnos de una manera muy fluida y espontánea. Para resaltar este elemento de sorpresa, decidimos guiarnos únicamente por nuestra intuición, improvisando libremente, sin consignas y sin ideas preconcebidas. Cuando nos percatamos de la riqueza del material que estábamos generando, decidimos entrar en un estudio de grabación y tocar por horas, con el mismo espíritu desinteresado de los encuentros en nuestras casas. Así se grabó este disco, en una tarde, en una toma única, apenas interrumpida por una merienda rápida. Es nuestro enorme placer compartir con ustedes esta música tan especial para nosotros, que fue un reencuentro entre grandes amigos, con la música y la expresividad artística como faro.
Espero que la disfruten tanto como nosotros la disfrutamos.

CAMPO BLANCO is a project that was born in the second half of 2020, at the exact moment when the quarantine was loosening and little by little one could regain face-to-face contact with their ties. At that moment, we look for a way to reconnect with collective musical creation, with the creative communication of interacting from sound and sensitivity. We realized the enormous potential of our instrumental format: a very unusual hybrid of acoustic, analog and digital instruments. This sound palette expresses ourselves in a very fluid and spontaneous way. To highlight this element of surprise, we decided to be guided solely by our intuition, improvising freely, without slogans and without preconceptions. When we realized the richness of the material we were generating, we decided to go into a recording studio and play for hours, with the same disinterested spirit of the meetings in our homes. This is how this album was recorded, in one afternoon, in a single take, barely interrupted by a quick snack. It is our great pleasure to share with you this music so special to us, which was a reunion between great friends, with music and artistic expressiveness as a beacon.
